Build
on the Rock
Everything that is built needs to be built on a strong
foundation, even your life.
Matthew 7:24-27 "Therefore whoever hears these sayings
of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on
the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat
on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. "But
everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a
foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods
came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its
fall."
1 Corinthians 10:4 … and that Rock was Christ.
John 20:31 but these are written that you may believe that
Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in
His name.
The Chosen Stone and
His Chosen People
When Jesus chooses you and invites you into His spiritual
house, you have to decide if you want the Kingdom and all it’s glory or not. It’s
your choice. Jesus is willing to give you the Kingdom as a free gift and the
gift is huge.
1Peter 2:4-5 Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected
indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, you also, as living stones,
are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual
sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
My prayer for those who read this message is that you pray
about it, count the cost, and accept what God created you for in the beginning.
The fearful man who is afraid despises the Lord God and has no part with Him. (Revelations
21:7-8 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and
he shall be my son. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the
abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and
all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and
brimstone: which is the second death.) But have faith in Christ and all will be
yours.
